Verizon wanted to convert their wireless customer base to their residential high speed internet service in expanded areas. So they offered the wireless mouse in their stores as part of a “keep it Verizon, Keep it wireless promotion”.
The Solution:
Offered the wireless mouse for all new signups in the stores closest to one of the new expanded areas.
The Outcome:
In the test stores area where they offered they had 3 times more signups then they did in the area where they offered they did not offer the gift.
